Hippocrates Assists Mayinglong in Realizing Real-Time, Online Management and Traceability of Full-Lifecycle Materials
I. Project Overview
In January 2024, Shanghai Singdi Health Technology Co., Ltd. (with its holding company being Shanghai Huihuan Information Technology Co., Ltd.) successfully launched the project for real-time, online management and traceability of Mayinglong’s full-lifecycle materials. This system optimizes management processes, enhances internal operational efficiency of the enterprise, and enables paperless system management. The project includes an external supply chain collaboration module and an internal flexible logistics system, which breaks down physical barriers between suppliers, logistics providers, internal warehouses, and workshops. It realizes comprehensive and efficient full-lifecycle logistics management as well as real-time, online material information quality traceability, truly achieving the unification of material flow, information flow, and capital flow.
II. Project Background
Mayinglong has been actively advancing smart manufacturing development. It owns internationally leading and domestically cutting-edge intelligent production lines for ointments and suppositories, enabling real-time collection and monitoring of manufacturing data. The company adopts vision-guided Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) to build a flexible smart logistics system, and leverages 5G networks and Internet of Things (IoT) technology to realize digital twins of key equipment. It has been awarded honors such as the "Internet-based Manufacturing 'Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation' Platform", "5G Fully Connected Factory (Park)", "Hubei Provincial Smart Manufacturing Pilot and Demonstration Enterprise", and "Hubei Provincial Cloud Adoption Model Enterprise".
This project aims to implement barcode management, material positioning, and scan-based handover for key materials from suppliers and intermediate products, thereby improving efficiency, preventing confusion and errors. It also automatically connects to the ERP system to achieve the unification of information flow and material flow, and enables computerized management of warehouse material distribution and workshop batching weighing (with electronic weighing records). This not only improves efficiency and prevents errors but also meets the material full-process traceability requirements of GMP standards, making it a key component of Mayinglong’s smart manufacturing initiative.
III. Specific Measures

The project covers an external supplier supply chain system and an internal flexible logistics management system, including the following modules:

The system connects to the enterprise’s existing ERP system, with documents sourced from NCC and data automatically transmitted back to NCC. It minimizes issues related to timeliness, authenticity, and completeness in material and logistics traceability and monitoring. By integrating suppliers, warehouses, workshops, and quality inspection onto a unified electronic management platform, it realizes information-based and standardized logistics management, improves production management standards and efficiency, saves labor costs, enhances product quality, and demonstrates the enterprise’s modern production model. It is a core component of building a first-class digital factory.
(3) Technical Architecture
The project adopts a Browser/Server (B/S) architecture, with data exchange conducted via WebAPI technology and standard JSON used as the communication format between the server and client. Functional modules are transformed into callable independent services, enhancing versatility and reusability. This revolutionary modularity-based technology enables enterprises to closely integrate IT with business operations, improves the flexibility of business processes, and truly helps enterprises respond quickly to external changes.
The system supports both on-premises deployment and cloud deployment.
IV. Construction Achievements

- Reduce the communication workload between procurement staff and suppliers, avoid errors and delays, and shorten the supplier delivery cycle.
- Suppliers assign codes to materials, improving the efficiency and accuracy of Mayinglong’s material management.
- Procurement orders, delivery notes, arrival notes, inspection reports, and invoices are directly and automatically linked in the system, reducing the workload of procurement and financial staff and improving efficiency.
- The internal flexible logistics platform avoids errors in all links (warehouses, workshop operation rooms, intermediate warehouses, and finished product storage), enhances logistics management efficiency, and reduces human factors.
- Material management records are automatically generated by the system, which is controlled in accordance with process formula requirements. Compliance is ensured through computerized system validation, improving the accuracy and efficiency of records.
- The system platform features powerful open interfaces and secondary development capabilities.
- The database structure is fully open; it allows expansion of meta-object structures and relationships, supports the creation of new meta-objects, and opens all report and label templates as well as plug-in API interfaces.
- It has scalability, suitable for the deployment of group control centers and multi-factory bases.
- The system supports various label technologies.
- It manages materials via RFID, QR codes, and barcodes; the system also supports multi-platform operation and display, including PDA, tablets, Android APP, iOS APP, and WeChat Mini Programs.
