Dr. Xiao Liang
Founder & CEO, Hippcrates
Dr. Xiao holds a Master of Medicine from Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University, and a Doctor of Pharmacology from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a Senior Engineer and the Principal Investigator of the National 12th Five-Year Plan Major New Drug Creation Project under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
As the first inventor, he has filed 5 patents and published more than 20 research papers, over 10 of which are English articles featured in SCI international journals.
After completing his doctoral studies, he worked as a Senior Researcher at Hengrui Medicine Shanghai R&D Center and later served as Head of the Clinical Department at Shanghai Huilun Life Science Co., Ltd. He oversaw preclinical development and clinical trial management for dozens of innovative drugs, including DPP4 inhibitors, c-Met inhibitors, PARP inhibitors, Apatinib and Flumatinib.
In June 2013, he co-founded Taimei Medical Technology Co., Ltd., where he served as General Manager and Chief Scientific Officer. The company focuses on digital operation platforms for clinical trials.
In August 2019, he co-founded Fucare (Shanghai) Health Technology Co.,
